A viewing of portions of two documentary films about localized climate change impacts. Thank You for the Rain centers on the story of a Kenyan farmer wrestling with the effects of climate change on his village and family, which leads him to address the international community at the United Nations Conference of Parties. Stayers, an in-progress unreleased film, shows a community fighting to save its island from disappearing into the Chesapeake Bay and navigating polarized sides of the climate debate.
