    This session will explore the potential for academia to influence lawmaking, with an emphasis on debtor/creditor law. The panelists will discuss everything from how judges incorporate academic writing and theory into their decision-making, to how scholars can (and have) worked with Congress to develop legislation, to what forthcoming opportunities there may be for debtor/creditor scholars to get involved with policy on the local, state, and federal level.
