    A guided hike to explore one of the true hidden wonders of Washington, DC, a Civil War fort nestled deep in Rock Creek Park. This will be followed by a service activity in the park (e.g. cleanup) and lunch at a nearby restaurant. This field trip will take place regardless of the weather, so participants are advised to dress appropriately.

    Meet at 9:30 am in the lobby of Marriott Marquis Hotel by the Gift Shop, near the L Street entrance of the hotel to take shared rides (Uber or Lyft) to Rock Creek Park for the field trip. Bus transportation is not provided.

    This field trip as a limited capacity of 30 participants and has a fee of $40 per person. Participants will need to sign a waiver of liability to participate in this off-site field trip. We can accept your payment for the field trip up to 24 hours in advance. Tickets will not be sold on the day of the field trip.
