This panel will discuss how US law schools are working with change agents within degree (SJD and LL.M.) and non-degree (visiting international scholar and faculty) programs to train generations of law professors around the world. This panel will explain some of the kinds of offerings available at large and small law schools, and how they aim to educate law professors. It will also include critical perspectives from the constituents abroad. We will address such issues as the impact of short- and long- visits, the importance of the doctoral programs, and how schools remain in contact after the professors return home.
