Promising early-career legal scholars will present their Justice and Inequality works-in-progress in conversation with commentators and the audience. This panel focuses on compelling current topics addressing inequitable legislation and other law. International governing bodies and federal, state, and local governments, including courts, recently have created legislation or regulations or taken administrative actions that likely have far-reaching effects on minority populations. Inequalities embodied in law and recommendations for new doctrinal and praxis models are central themes of the works, and the power and duties of law schools to contribute to changes toward justice and equality are likewise featured.
