Great law teaching is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor.  Each teacher brings his or her unique personality, affect, goals, and values.  At the same time, each law teacher must engage classrooms of students who themselves vary greatly and must do so in diverse settings and within varied organizational structures.  These internal and external factors require law teachers to develop a variety of teaching tools.  In this program, a team of master teachers will demonstrate effective teaching as they share the teaching techniques they have designed to deeply engage students.  Because the Section on Teaching Methods believes these presenters are extraordinarily effective teachers, we ignored our presenters’ preferences and chose to label them master teachers.  Master teachers can serve as role models and mentors whether we are junior, senior or somewhere in between.  What makes these teachers so effective?  Find out.
