Legal education has been slow to change. It’s time to summon our courage and come together as doctrinal and clinical professors and administrators to meet the moment and prepare our students for a profession and society experiencing rapid change. Panel 2 addresses Democracy, Autocracy, and Professional Identity through brief presentations, an interactive exercise modeling curricular/extra-curricular approaches, and floor discussion. How can we address questions of democracy and the rule of law through the teaching of professional identity formation? Panelists are developing a curricular project that crosses the legal academy preparing students as both zealous advocates and public citizens.

    Business meeting at program conclusion.
