Over the past 15 years the philanthropy landscape has changed. Alumni used to support their institutions out of a sense of loyalty and obligation. Now institutions are educating current students and young alumni about how giving enriches the student experience and helps an institution to thrive. As a result, focusing on current students as future donors is more important than ever.
