This panel will include legal scholars who will offer their perspectives on how law and policy can and should be utilized to combat America’s mental health crisis across the lifespan. Individual presentations will focus on various populations with significant needs, including children/youth, individuals with severe mental illness (SMI), and individuals with substance use disorder (SUD).
