This session will focus on how law schools can better infuse the rule of law into their curricula and educational missions. At a time of significant public debate about our democracy, law schools can play a unique role in strengthening the rule of law and public confidence in legal institutions. Do we teach the rule of law explicitly and intentionally? How can we prepare students to meet their professional responsibilities to uphold the rule of law? The session will share diverse perspectives and best practices on how doctrinal and clinical courses approach this issue and how innovative approaches might improve teaching in this area.
