The final results of AALS’ Before
the JD project, which will be released later in 2018, will provide
information and insights that can be used by law school deans to inform
policies and practices capable of enriching and growing their programs. In
addition to the national survey, the final report will reflect the results of
post-survey focus groups with prospective or current law school students. This
co-plenary session is an opportunity for participants to share how the selected
preliminary results of Before the JD might
be used on law school campuses, and help AALS and Gallup researchers understand
how the research can be extended to advance legal education in the future.
