Join IA colleagues for a fun trip to Sausalito! We will walk/share UBERs to the San Francisco Ferry Building and take the 30-minute picturesque ferry boat ride to Sausalito with views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island and the San Francisco skyline. Enjoy time in Sausalito to explore this quaint town, enjoy lunch or coffee at a cafe overlooking San Francisco and explore the shops along the charming main street Bridgeway.

Cost of field trip is approximately $28 for roundtrip ferry and (plus shared Uber fees, lunch or coffee) to be paid directly by the attendee.

Attendees of the field trip should meet promptly at 11:45 a.m. in the San Francisco Hilton Hotel lobby to either walk or share Ubers to the San Francisco Ferry Terminal (SFFT) located at 1 Ferry Building at Embarcadero and Market. The ferry departs for Sausalito at 12:35 p.m. at Gate B, arriving at Sausalito at 1:05 p.m. Attendees of the field trip will purchase their own round-trip tickets to Sausalito in person at the San Francisco Ferry Terminal ticket machine or in advance through the Clipper app or card. Gather in lobby of San Francisco Hilton at 11:45 p.m. to walk or share Ubers to the Ferry Terminal. Board ferry to Sausalito, arrive at 1:05 p.m.; explore Sausalito until departure by return ferry at your convenience at either 3:10 p.m. (arrive in San Francisco at 3:40 p.m.) or 5:00 p.m., arriving in San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. Share Ubers or walk back to the San Francisco Hilton.
