Legal education has been slow to change. It’s time to summon our courage and come together as doctrinal and clinical professors and administrators to meet the moment and prepare our students for a profession and society experiencing rapid change. Panel 1 addresses the importance of integrating doctrine, skills, and professional identity formation in the curriculum through the lens of multidimensional teaching developed by dispute resolution experts who will share a host of resources designed for the larger legal academy. Panelists will also present one or more sample questions that mimic the NCBE NextGen format to center discussion of assessment issues.
