Recent global health and political crises
have impacted the global legal community in ways that demanded an immediate
change in legal education and practice. Whether practitioners, judges, or
students, we had to pivot into this new reality, in which live client meetings,
court appearances, and legal education were replaced by remote and hybrid
communication and relationships. We must treat these changes as “silver
linings” and continue to use them going forward. This section will discuss how
global legal education and practice have been impacted by recent crises and
provide insight into how legal professionals are successfully tackling these
challenges.
Business meeting at program conclusion.
