Students with disabilities have a wide range of experiences with respect to their relationships with their law professors and the administration when they request accommodations. Sometimes Disability Services might approve an accommodation and the law professor is generally expected to honor it, but that doesn't always happen. Law professors may be unsure how to best respond because they have no experience/training in disability and disability etiquette. The goal of this session is to open up a conversation about how law professors can improve their interactions with law students with disabilities, and ultimately improve the student experience for students with disabilities.
