This works-in-progress program highlights junior scholars (pre-tenure or teaching for six or fewer years) working on civil rights topics. The committee will select the papers and assign more senior civil rights scholars to read and comment on the papers. At the conference, the selected participants will have the opportunity to present their work, followed by the comments of the senior scholar.
