    The movement for a right to counsel (RTC) for tenants facing eviction is rapidly growing. Sixteen jurisdictions, including 3 states, have enacted RTC legislation. RTC holds enormous potential to shift power and transform landlord-tenant relations. The job market for tenant lawyers is exploding and, in some jurisdictions, it's becoming difficult to find candidates to fill openings.
