As Indigenous law professors from the United States and Canada, we recognize the kinship worldview that connected us historically and continues to connect us across the political border commonly known as the Medicine Line. In this panel, we offer our perspectives on creating space inside law schools for Indigenous methodologies, epistemologies, scholarship, and pedagogy. We seek to provide educators of the next generation of legal professionals a foundation and inspiration in our collective efforts toward decolonizing law schools across North America while providing greater inclusion of Indigenous legal traditions, perspectives, and law principles.
