Our Section is organizing a panel highlighting innovative, insightful, and impactful law and social science research across all fields and subfields of law. This panel will elevate the significance of producing, translating, and critiquing legal and policy decisions based on valid and reliable social science empiricism and theoretical frameworks. In an environment where social science and evidence-based decision-making face critique and constraint, the scholarship of legal scholars who courageously conduct this work becomes even more vital. Panelists shed light on one of three approaches: 1) Empirical Studies of the Law and Legal Processes, 2) Social Science Translation, 3) Behavioral Realism.
