The program will discuss current and emerging threats to reproductive rights. In particular, the program will consider: (1) recent litigation seeking to challenge Texas SB8, (2) two lawsuits currently pending before the United States Supreme Court, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and Cameron v. EMW Women’s Surgical Center, and (3) new modes of argument that are being deployed to destabilize the reproductive rights landscape.
