    This panel will examine a variety of pressing issues relating to patient privacy and health information confidentiality. The first speaker will focus on privacy issues in the context of substance use disorder risk scoring and prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs) and will challenge PDMP algorithms under disability nondiscrimination law. The second speaker will evaluate the risks and benefits of recent regulations designed to protect the confidentiality of reproductive health information. The third and fourth speakers will examine privacy issues in the context of individuals with disabilities and individuals who use mobile health applications relating to menstruation, ovulation, and/or fertility, respectively.
     
    The Section held a virtual business meeting prior to the Annual Meeting.
