This program examines the uneasy intersection of legal issues presented when art is presented in public spaces. Free speech and freedom of artistic expression collide with the right of government to dictate how public money is spent; and the rights and interests of divergent views and political groups present significant legal challenges the panel will explore. Noted public art and mural art attorney Ms. Oliver and other panelists will explore these complex issues.
