Gary Gensler was sworn in as Chair of the SEC on April 17, 2021. The roughly three years since he was sworn in have been quite eventful at the SEC. We have invited former SEC Commissioner Robert Jackson (2018-2020), currently the Nathalie P. Urry Professor of Law at New York University Law School, and Hester Peirce, SEC Commissioner (2018 - present), to engage in a conversation with our Section on the ways in which Gensler’s record at the SEC represents wins or fails. We expect a lively discussion.
