This is a unique moment for clinical/experiential legal education. We are living and working in times of uncertainty and change in our local communities and in the larger enterprise of legal education. On the heels of a global health pandemic, we face our work with a new perspective. Our communities are navigating a profound moment of public reckoning with a long history of racial injustice. In response to the destabilizing moments of the past few years, clinical education embraced innovation and creativity, often out of necessity, and often to great success. How does this experience impact our teaching and legal education as a whole? How do we as program directors and experiential deans create space and resources to foster and harness the innovation and creativity of recent years even as we return to (what we hope to be) some stability?

The Facilitated Discussion will meet in small groups. See Handout for your session assignment and its meeting room location.
