    Since its creation in 1934, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission has played a leading role in regulating the capital markets and providing investor protection. This panel will explore the state of the SEC by examining its current regulatory and enforcement efforts and by discussing the policies that underlie them.
    The Section held a virtual business meeting prior to the Annual Meeting.
