Conceptions of the corporation over the years have
influenced perceptions of the appropriate role of the corporation and legal
regulations. This panel focuses on today's conceptions of the corporation that
are embedded in the analyses of recent U.S. Supreme Court and Delaware court
opinions. It will explore the advisability of these conceptions and their
implications for corporations and society.
