Recruitment for academic law librarians has become intensely competitive, perhaps more so than the profession of law librarianship has ever experienced. A number of factors may contribute, including retirements, fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting Great Resignation, and other previously unexplored causes. In this environment, what are the most effective strategies for ensuring the success of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, successful recruitment of law librarians, and protection of the future of the profession of law librarianship?

The Section held a virtual business meeting prior to the Annual Meeting.
