This roundtable discussion with law school deans from around the country will focus on the bar exam, and how bar exam reform, alternative licensing, and technology might help bridge the access justice gap. It will consider problems of inequity around the bar exam in general, as well as how the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated them. It will examine various ways in which the bar exam might evolve to address these concerns. It will analyze how alternative licensing and emerging technology might help provide pathways to justice. Finally, the panel will address the role of legal education in making needed progress.
