Pretenured law teachers are reminded often that their future depends on a three legged-stool - teaching, scholarship, and service.  They are not often told about the importance of building relationships that will last through tenure and beyond.  In particular, many people of color might not have access to the networks that exist for other law teachers and thus have to endeavor to build them.  This luncheon keynote will address best practices for building networks and relationships, and will give participants concrete strategies to build and to keep in touch with the networks they build.
