The service project will be held at Ozanam Inn, a non-profit, direct service agency serving the homeless and needy of greater New Orleans. While the Inn's immediate priority is to offer aid and comfort by providing for basic needs like food, shelter and clothing, they also offer case management and counseling to help move individuals from homelessness to independent living. Volunteers will serve a midday meal at the Inn. The service project site, 843 Camp Street, is walking distance from the Hotel.
NEW: Meet on the 1st floor of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside by the Concierge Desk at 12:45 pm if you are interested walking with the group to Ozanam Inn.
Participants will need to sign a waiver of liability to participate in this off-site project.
