Trusts and Estates continues to serve as a reflection of societal values and inequalities as we transfer our belongings at death to the next generation. We invite papers that explore how gender, race, class, sexual orientation, age, immigration, or disability shape succession law, how inheritance and wealth inequality are impacted by our testamentary system, the challenges of estate planning for underserved communities, how charitable giving plays out in today’s dispositions, and how the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to or disrupted inequalities in succession law.
