    This program addresses key concepts surrounding the common good and inequities in legal education and lawyering that the pandemic and social justice movements have revealed. The panelists will share their research and engage the participants in exploring new approaches to law pedagogy, including fostering law students' ability to critically analyze and communicate in times of social and political unrest, and using judicial opinions in foundational first year courses to teach critical theory and culturally competent lawyering. The Section on Legal Writing, Reasoning and Research will be holding an awards ceremony Wednesday, January 5th at 2:00 - 3:00 pm Eastern.
